The Selling Process

As your real estate agent, I have a unique process that I use when selling your home.  I usually come to your home twice before we decide upon the listing agreement.  At the first meeting, I preview your home, ask you questions, and take notes. I also photograph parts of your home which I will use during my second presentation. Prior to the next visit, I will do research specific to your home and present my marketing proposal and plan.

My complete marketing plan will outline exactly what is involved in selling your home. I will supply appropriate data to support the recommended list price.  This is only the first step in the selling process.  As an accredited staging professional, one of my services includes staging your home to maximize its presentation.

Once you receive a written offer, I will represent you in all negotiations to make certain that your interests are well protected and all legalities in the contract are followed. I will continue to make certain that financing and other contingencies are removed in a timely manner and that the transaction goes to settlement on time.

Selling your home is an emotional time and, often, unexpected events occur.  Many of my clients comment that I seem to remain calm and supportive when these unexpected events occur. I strive to make all transactions a win-win experience for all parties involved and I feel that it is important to have a real estate agent that works with you as a partner throughout the process.
